State of the plants

The New England Wildflower Society (NEWFS) just released an important report, The State of New England’s Native Plants. Although we are not in New England, we share many of the region’s ecosystems and native species, and the report is well worth reading for information on the importance of native plants, loss of species diversity, and what all of us can do about it.

It’s worth joining NEWFS, a well-respected research and scientific organization dedicated to the preservation of native plants. And they sell native plants, including many hard-to-find species!
