A plant that can count

Check out this article about a recent scientific study demonstrating that Venus fly traps, carnivorous plants that trap and digest insects, can count. The trap contains trigger hairs that sense movement. It doesn’t shut unless the hairs detect two movements within 20 seconds; the plant doesn’t start releasing digestive juices unless it senses at least three movements within the trap.

What else do plants know and feel?
